New Bedford - Myrta Perez, age 55, died Saturday, September 27, 2008. She was the lifetime partner and companion of Ramades Diaz of New Bedford. Mrs. Perez was the mother of David Diaz, Gloria Vargas, wife of Elmer Saenz and Nancy Pimentel, wife of Juan Rey, all of New Bedford. Mrs. Perez is also survived by nine grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters and several nieces and nephews, she also had a sister that has predeceased her.
Mrs. Perez was the daughter of the late Albaro and Catalina (Vargas) Perez. She was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and lived in this area for the past 48 years.
Mrs. Perez’s Funeral Service will be at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. with services beginning at 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours are from 7 - 9 P.M. on Monday evening. Relatives and friends are invited.
