Ada K. Furtado

New Bedford-Ada K. Furtado age 87 years died Thursday at St. Luke’s Hospital; after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Edward Furtado of Dartmouth, Ada was the loved mother of John F. Kwaterski of Orlando, FL., Judy Hoeft of Wisconsin, Joseph Jerry, and Jeff Kwaterski all of Baylies Habor, WI. and Jill Wittingham of Milwalkee, WI. Ada’s stepchildren are Joyce Borzumato and Deborah Barnes both of Hudson, MA., Lorraine Beauteau of VA., Edward D. Furtado of Leominster, MA. and Michael Furtado of Chittenango, NY. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Furtado was the daughter of the late Henry and Augusta (Larson) Walther. She was born in Sturgeon Bay, WI. And has lived in this area since 1975. She was an electrical assembler for an electrical mfg. until her retirement.
