Rose (Silvia) Faucher

New Bedford - Rose Faucher, age 83 years, died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Southeastern Massachusetts Health and Rehabilitation Hospital. She was the widow of Gerald L. Faucher. Mrs. Faucher was the mother of Joanne wife of Jesse Chaffino and Gerald V. husband of Marcia Faucher both of Dartmouth. She was the grandmother of Geoffrey K. Faucher,Paul J. Faucher and Jessica R. Sakellaropolos and the great grandmother of Panagiotis and Athanasios Sakellaropolos. She was the sister of the late Manuel, John and Mary Silvia

Mrs. Faucher was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Ferreira) Silvia. Rose was born in New Bedford and was a life long resident. She was a laborer in the fishing industry.

Mrs. Faucher’s Funeral Services will be Thursday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 10 A.M. Services will start at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting will be prior to service. Relatives and friends are invited.
