Gilbert J. Paiva

New Bedford-Gilbert J. Paiva age 76 years died Thursday at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the loved son of the late Hazel (Paiva) Hilario. He is survived by several cousins, and friends.

He was born in New Bedford and was a life long resident. Gil was a fisherman on various vessels until he retired to a land job, which was a maintenance man at Revere Sink & Bathroom Fixtures for many years until his retirement.

Mr. Paiva’s Funeral Services will be Monday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 10 A.M. His services will start at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Relatives and Friends are invited.
