Augustine Arruda

New Bedford- Augustine J. Arruda Jr. aged 76, Died Tuesday December 9 2003 . He was the Husband of the late Beatrice Arruda. Father of Gary Arruda & his wife Debra & Father of Brian Arruda of New Bedford, and a Granddaughter Mandy Arruda.

Mr. Arruda was born in Westport, the son of the Late Augustine J. & Florinda Arruda. He lived in this area for most his life. Mr Arruda was a supervisor for Kasanofs Bakery & he also worked at Nisson Bakery as a District Manager,He also delivered auto parts for Parts Plus. He was a Former member of the St. Johns Church couples club, He was involved in the S.E.Y.A.A. where he coached several baseball teams & volunteered his time, he and his wife were also involved in the C.Y.O.Where they donated their time to the children . Mr. Arruda was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II

The funeral Mass will be Saturday December 13, 2003 at St. John the Baptist Church @ 9 A.M.. Family & friends are invited . Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, New Bedford, Ma. Visitng Hours will be Friday December 12, 2003 from 2-4 & 7-9For Condolence Book and Directions go to www.perryfuneral.com
