Irene (Silva) Pimental

Dartmouth-Irene Pimental age 89 died Thursday November 18th at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Honorato Pimental. She was the beloved mother of Bernadette Pimental-Teixeira of North Dartmouth. Irene was the loving Grandmother of Mellissa Teixeira of New Bedford. Irene was the sister of Alice Crowley of New Bedford and the late Hadley Ponte, Mary Duchaine and Antonio Silva.

Mrs. Pimental was the daughter of the late Antone and Maria E. (Jesus) Silva. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all her life. She was a Floor worker at local textile mills until her retirement.

Mrs. Pimental Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Monday at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Gaudalupe at St. James Parish at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday 4-6 P.M.
