New Bedford-Elsie Borges died Sunday January 11, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the Godmother of Elsie Oliveira of Dartmouth, Aunt of Millie Borges of California. She had two very close friends Claire Faucher and Lucille Faucher both of New Bedford. She is also survived by several cousins.
Miss Borges was the daughter of Antone and Alice (Pacheco) Borges. She was born in Acushnet, MA. She was a cementer at Mickey Madann’s Pocketbook Factory.
According with her wishes a private funeral was held today for her.
She was a member of St. Martins Episcopal Church.
