Mary Souza

Fairhaven Mary Souza, 87, of New Bedford, died Friday January 23, 2004,@ Alden Court Nursing Home. She was the widow of Victor T. Souza. She was the mother of Victor T. Souza of New Bedford, Rita L& her Husband Bernard of N. Dartmouth, Rosemary E & her Husband Joseph of N. Dartmouth, Ruth A. Cafarelli of New Bedford, Jean & her Husband Joseph Taffe of N. Dartmouth. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Mark, Michelle, Melissa, Jeana, Joel, Domenic, & Victoria and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was born in New Bedford daughter of the late Rita & Frank Cardoza. She was a homemaker.& her pride & joy was her family.

The funeral will be Monday January 26, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rivet St. New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours will be Sunday January 11, 2004 from 4-8 P.M.
