Maria G. (Araujo) Medeiros

New Bedford - Maria G. Medeiros, 83, of New Bedford, died Monday, January 26, 2004, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of Manuel Egidio Medeiros.

She was born in St. Michael, Azores, the daughter of the late Jose Araujo Mota and Maria Ines (Araujo) Mota and lived in this area since 1968. She worked at Cliftex Corp. as a stitcher.

Her funeral will be Wednesday January 28, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rivet St. New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours will be Tuesday January 27, 2004 from 6 - 8 P.M.at the funeral home.
