Mrs. Ana Mascarenhas, born on May 9, 1973 in Luanda, Angola, died on November 20, 2023 in New Bedford, MA, daughter of Olímpio Semedo Mascarenhas and Maria Augusta Mendes Cabral, mother of Ayrton de Rosario Mascarenhas Santiago , Tarciana Augusta Mascarenhas Santiago and Kelson Joseph Mascarenhas Santiago, sister of Sandra Marisa Cabral Mascarenhas, Sónia Marília Cabral Mascarenhas, Marinela Cabral Mascarenhas Dias, Avelino Mascarenhas,Walter de Jesus Cabral Mascarenhas, Dilson Cláudio Cabral Mascarenhas and Vivaldo Amílcar Cabral Mascarenhas, cousins ​​and uncles and friends. First daughter, always willing to help those closest to her, thus contributing to the growth of her brothers without exception.

In 2017, she began her incessant struggle in search of a healthy life, a battle that came to a tragic end on November 20, 2023.

Betinha, as she was cherished by us, always colorful, vain and cheerful, this is the legacy that you leave in our hearts, the First Daughter; the mother; the sister; the aunt; the friend; my dear cousin.

Ana's visiting hours will be held Sunday, December 3rd at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Her funeral will begin the next day at Perry Funeral Home Monday, December 4th at 9:00 A.M. followed by a mass at 10:00 A.M at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in New Bedford with her burial at Rural Cemetery, New Bedford immediately after.
