Antonio C. Claudina

Antonio C. Claudina, age 84, of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Brandon Woods New Bedford, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria (Silva) Claudina, who passed away just days earlier on November 17, 2025.

Antonio was born on March 23, 1941, in Sao Miguel, Azores, to the late Jose Correia Claudino and Justina (Borges) Pacheco. His early years were marked by a strong work ethic, and he dedicated many years of his life as a machine operator in the local textile industry, contributing significantly to the community he cherished.

Antonio is survived by his three sons, Antonio J. Claudina and his wife, Margaret, Manuel Claudina, and Sergio Claudina. He also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren, Nicholas Claudina, Kaitlyn Claudina, and Abby Claudina, who brought him immense joy and pride.

In addition to his immediate family, Antonio is survived by his siblings: Jose Correia and his wife Filomena, Manuel Claudina and his wife Maria, Estrella Rebelo and her husband Dionisio, Celestino Claudino and his wife Salome, and Luis Claudino and his wife Ana, and sister-in-law, Isabel Claudino, wife of the late David. These relationships were a source of strength and connection throughout his life.

Antonio will be remembered for his kind spirit, unwavering dedication to his family, and the warmth he brought to all who knew him. The family welcomes all who wish to pay their respects during this time of sorrow and reflection.

Antonio's legacy of love and dedication will be honored during his visiting hours and funeral services on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Visiting hours will take place at Perry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 A.M. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Rural Cemetery.
