Antonio Humberto Aguiar Pacheco

Antonio Humberto Aguiar Pacheco, age 76, of Dartmouth, MA, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the cherished husband of Maria F. (Pimentel) Pacheco.

Born on January 28, 1949, Antonio was a beloved son of the late Jose Luis Pacheco and Maria F. (Aguiar) Pacheco. Antonio is survived by his wife, Maria F. Pacheco, his beloved daughter Sherriann de Medeiros, grandchildren Tristan and Victoria, and son-in-law Craig. He is also survived by his brother Jose Luis Pacheco and his wife Judy as well as his niece Cristina and many cousins.

He had been a machinist for Borg Warner Marine and Industrial Transmissions for nearly 30 years. After retirement from the company, he worked for more than 10 years with his best friend Sohrab Vafee at Best Choice Auto Sales in New Bedford.

Tony, as he was known to his friends, had many interests outside of work. He cherished spending time with his friends and loved watching sports, especially football and soccer. He loved traveling and his island of Sao Miguel had a special place in his heart.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth St, New Bedford, MA.
