Bernice Perry

Bernice (Gonsalves) Perry, age 85, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2026 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Perry.

Born on September 30, 1940, Bernice was the cherished daughter of the late Antone G. Gonsalves and Rose (Viera) Gonsalves. She had worked as a home health aide for many years.

She is survived by her children, Kelley Perry, Craig perry and Ronald Perry; her grandsons, Ryan, Brandon, Jonathan and Ian; her granddaughters, Brittany and Briana; her great-granddaughter, Olivia; her brothers, Antone Gonsalves and Roger Gonsalves; as well as her sister, Louise Gonsalves.

She was predeceased by her late sons, Jay and Scott Perry.

Her service will take place on Wednesday September 23 at International Church of the Nazarene 278 Pleasant St. New Bedford, at 10 A.M.

Arrangements are by Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts, which offers convenient facilities, including a lighted parking lot and wheelchair accessibility for attendees.
