Bernice (Gonsalves) Perry

Bernice (Gonsalves) Perry, age 85, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2026 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Perry.

Born on September 30, 1940, Bernice was the cherished daughter of the late Antone G. Gonsalves and Rose (Viera) Gonsalves. She had worked as a home health aide for many years.

She is survived by her children, Kelley Perry, Craig Perry, Ronald Perry and Cheryl Perry; her grandsons, Ryan, Brandon, Jonathan and Ian; her granddaughters, Brittany and Briana; her great-granddaughter, Olivia; her brothers, Antone Gonsalves and Roger Gonsalves; as well as her sister, Louise Gonsalves.

She was predeceased by her late sons, Jay and Scott Perry.

** Time and day to be announced** Her memorial service with her cremains will take place at the International Church of the Nazarene, 286 Pleasant St. New Bedford, MA. All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
