Carol Mack

Carol Mack, 55, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 21, 1969, Carol was the beloved daughter of Sandra Furtado and the late John Candido.

Carol's life was rich with love, laughter, and fond memories. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Mack, who stood by her side throughout her journey. Together, they shared countless adventures and cherished moments.

A proud mother, Carol is survived by her two children, Christopher Candido and Stephanie Candido, who carry forward her spirit and values. She also leaves behind her stepdaughter, Tyla Mack, who was an important part of her life. Her granddaughter, Skyler Bordwick, will forever remember her grandmother's warmth and kindness.

Family was of utmost importance to Carol. She is survived by her brother, Andrew Candido, and her sisters, Michelle Goulart and Christine Candido, all of whom will hold her memory close to their hearts.

Carol dedicated her energy to her work as a bartender at the Westport Social Club, where she greeted every patron with her signature smile. Her passions included an adventurous love for riding motorcycles, camping under the stars, and an endearing fascination with frogs. These activities brought her immense joy and created lasting memories with her loved ones. Her life was a testament to strength, love, and vibrancy. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carol’s visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. Following the visitation, cremation will take place.
