Celia (Mendonca) Andrews

Celia (Mendonca) Andrews, age 89, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was the cherished wife of the late William Andrews.

Born on August 2, 1936, Celia was the beloved daughter of the late Frank Mendonca and Mary (Ferreira) Mendonca. She had worked at several local manufacturers in the area for many years.

Celia leaves behind many family and friends.

Celia’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will take place from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. with a service to start at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth St, New Bedford, MA.
