New Bedford – Curtis M. Kumor, age 28, of Fairhaven, MA passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2023. Born in New Bedford, he was the beloved son of Carole (DesRoches) Kumor and John Kumor. He worked as a cook for Dominoes Pizza, Wendys, Papa Ginos and Friendlys.

Curtis will be remembered to have loved sports as a former baseball player and avid New England Patriots fan. He was intelligent and could pick up any skill he was interested in, from computer programming to playing the drums or cooking up a family meal. And he always maintained his sense of humor through the toughest of times.

 Curtis is survived by his parents, Carole L. (DesRoches) Kumor of Fairhaven and John S. Kumor of New Bedford; his siblings, Scott M. and Cassie M. Kumor of Fairhaven; grandparents, Grace and Stephen Rose of Assonet, and Wanda and Joseph Williams of Deltona, FL; nieces, Jadah and Mackenzie Kumor of Dartmouth; along with many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Ignacy Kumor and Norman DesRoches; and nephew of the late Lisa (Kumor) Rioux and Paul Rioux.

Curtis visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Cremation will follow.
