David Medeiros

David Medeiros, age 79, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on January 27, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, surrounded by the love of his family. was the beloved husband of Paul De Araujo.

Born on October 22, 1946, in New Bedford, MA, David was the son of the late Antone Medeiros and Josephine Medeiros. A dedicated professional, he worked as a self-employed hairdresser at Continental Coiffure for many years, where his talent and passion for his craft were evident in the care he extended to each of his clients.

David is survived by his husband, Paul, who cherished their time together and the bond they shared. His children, David K. Medeiros and his wife Ana, Shannon Medeiros and her husband Roy and Jordan Monopoli and wife Monique; grandchildren, Britt, Kay, Jacob, Joshua, Hailey, Brennan, Shane, Teddy and Oliver as well as his great-grandchildren, Givanni, Cole and Leina

As a man of incredible warmth and kindness, David's presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the love that permeated his relationships with family and friends.

Funeral services were held privately at the request of the family.
