David Richard Pacheco, age 77, of Fall River, MA, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at St. Anne’s Hospital. Born on April 3, 1948, in Acushnet, MA, he was the cherished son of the late Myron and Stella (Medeiros) Pacheco.

A proud veteran, Dave served his country in the United States Army, excelling as a Rifle Marksman and earning the National Defense Service Medal. After being discharged, he worked as a truck driver which fueled his love of the open road and allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. He also worked as a landscaper and did many other odd jobs, always ready to lend a helping hand to those around him.

Dave was a dedicated Patriots and RedSox fan. Known for his feisty spirit and kind heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love and legendary humorous antics that will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew him.

Dave is survived by two of his seven siblings: his sister, Donna (Pacheco) Sylvia, and his brother, Butch Pacheco. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. 

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, MA.
