Donna Lee Souza

Donna Lee Souza, 77, passed away on September 9, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1949, in Hartford, Connecticut.

Donna spent her early years in Connecticut before moving to California and later making her way to Martha’s Vineyard with her children. She cherished her time on the Vineyard, especially the beaches, the natural beauty of the island, and the memories she made there with her family. She also made her home in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.

Throughout her career, Donna worked as a Realtor. Outside of work, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and caring for her beloved dogs, who held a very special place in her heart. She enjoyed seeing new places, making memories, and experiencing life along the way.

Above all else, Donna loved her family. She treasured being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her grandchildren brought her immense love and happiness.

Donna is survived by her three children, Sean Souza, Erin Ducatt, and Jesse Smith; her grandchildren, Michael Ducatt-Luce and his wife, Raegen Ducatt-Luce; Kayden Durden; Kaylee Durden; and Kathryn Smith; and her great-grandson, Lincoln Ducatt-Luce.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson, and through the many memories created throughout her life—from Connecticut and California to Martha’s Vineyard and Fairhaven, as well as all the places she traveled along the way.

In accordance with Donna’s wishes, she will be cremated. Her family will honor her memory in a private gathering.

Private arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts, which offers convenient facilities, including a lighted parking lot and wheelchair accessibility for attendees.
