Dorvalino Amaral Cabral

Dorvalino Amaral Cabral, age 73, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Friday October 3,2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born on May 28, 1952, in Azores, Portugal, Dorvalino was the son of the late Clemente Cabral and Julia (Amaral) Cabral. He dedicated many years of his life as the Proprietor of Bay State Foods, Finest Meats and Dartmouth Egg Company, leaving a lasting impact on the community he served

In his younger years, Dorvalino, also known as Al or Mr. C, enjoyed playing soccer and being with family and friends. He was a diehard fan of the New England Patriots and Sporting Soccer Team. He will be remembered for his hard work, the need to help others and his devotion to his family.

Dorvalino is survived by his 3 children: Tracey Cabral, Heidi Medeiros and husband Kevin Medeiros, and Heather Cabral; his 7 grandchildren: Brianna Robinson, Kaylyn Murphy, Kaden Loura, Savannah Murphy, Madison Medeiros, Travis Medeiros and Acelynn Corkum; his brothers: Joao, Luis and Fernando Cabral along with nieces and a nephew.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home located at 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, MA.
