Edmond Motta

New Bedford – Edmond Motta, age 91, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Care One of New Bedford with his loving family by his side.

Edmond was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Lucille (Lameira) and Luciano R. Motta. He had worked as a delivery driver for Balher Manufacturer. He loved photography, especially taking pictures of the City of New Bedford and the old trains and was also an avid Circus fan. Edmond had served in the United States Army Reserve.

He is survived by his companion of 47 years, Dorothy Andrade; a stepson, Alan Andrade and his wife Deborah, and a stepdaughter, Darlene Langlois and her husband Rick; as well as 2 grandchildren Ian and Kyle Langlois. 

Edmond’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. – 9:30 A.M.  and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
