Facundo Guadalupe

Facundo Guadalupe, age 86, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved husband of Cruz M. Morales.

Born on December 6, 1939, in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, Facundo was the cherished son of the late Domingo Guadalupe and Saturnina Romero. He worked for many years as a nurse’s aide in a hospital in Puerto Rico, where he cared for others with dedication and kindness.

Facundo was also a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and remained faithful to the Lord until the end. His family finds peace in knowing that he is now resting in the presence of the Lord.

Facundo is survived by his loving wife, Cruz Morales. He was the devoted father of three children whom he loved dearly: Nina Guadalupe, Carlos Guadalupe, and Milagros Guadalupe.

He was also the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Giovannie Guadalupe, Stephanie Guadalupe, Daniel Burgos, Kevin Guadalupe, Nataly Burgos, Nimarys Torres, and Jonathan Torres. He was blessed with six great-grandchildren, whom he loved deeply, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first great-granddaughter.

Facundo’s visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. His funeral will take place on Wednesday morning at the funeral home beginning at 8:45 AM, with a service to begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
