Frank P. Canha

Frank Perry Canha, age 93, of Fairhaven, MA, passed away on December 20, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of the late Mary J. (Sylvia) Canha.

Frank was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Frank Canha and Rose (Menezes) Canha, and had worked at S.M.U. as a Parking Coordinator. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. and was the President and Moderator of the former Holy Ghost of Sharp Street.

Frank is survived by 2 his step-daughters, Linda Sylvia and Joyce Winderlick; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Vicky Mendoza; his good friend, Mary Frances Andrade, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Caroline Pacheco and brother of the late Joseph Canha and Rose Patton.
