Gisela (Heil) Rodrick age 92, of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Care One New Bedford surrounded by the love of her family. She was the cherished wife of the late Rodney Rodrick and the late Anthony Vincent.

Gisela was born on August 18, 1933 in Erlinbach, Germany and was the beloved daughter of the late Fritz Heil and Philippine (Korn) Heil. She was the beloved sister of Herbert Heil who died in World War 2. She had worked as a waitress for several local restaurants for many years. In her spare time she loved to garden and grow her raspberries to make delicious jam. She loved to bake all her German cookies for Christmas and all her wonderful German cakes. She also belonged to the German club and loved to sing in many concerts and in the church choir, she had a beautiful voice.

Gisela is survived by her loving daughters Sheila Duarte and partner Joe Pereira DonnaSnow and her husband Alan Snow and Rebecca Rodrick and partner Brian Deterra. She is survived by 10 wonderful grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren

Gisela will be remembered for all her hard work and for passing on the love of baking and singing to her family.

A memorial service with Gisela's cremains will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM at Perry Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
