Gladys De Jesus Gonzalez

New Bedford – Gladys De Jesus Gonzalez, age 89, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Maximo Lebron.

She was born on Patillas, Puerto Rico and was the daughter of the late Bernardo De Jesus and Inocencia Gonzalez. Gladys had been a loving homemaker to her family for many years.

Gladys is survived by her sons, Ramon Diaz and Antonio Diaz; her daughters, Maria Diaz, Elisa Diaz, Irma Diaz, Carmen Navarro; her sisters, Minerva Gonzalez and Olga Loizaga; her brothers, Samuel De Jesus and Santos De Jesus; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was also the mother of the late Jose Castro.

Her visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time. Burial will take place in Puerto Rico.
