Jaime P. Cabral

Jaime P. Cabral, age 74, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Maria G. (Bernardo) Cabral, who not only his partner but also his greatest support throughout their life together.

Born on January 29, 1951, in Santa Cruz, Lagoa, Sao Miguel, Açores, Jaime was the son of the late Joao Cabral and Maria Isabel Pereira Aguiar Cabral. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to his work at AFC Cable, where he made a significant impact over the years.

Jaime had a zest for life that shone through in his love for car rides and days spent by the beach. His infectious sense of humor and joke telling ability brought joy to all who knew him. He particularly cherished the moments spent with family and friends, continually demonstrating an unwavering love and kindness that will be fondly remembered by those closest to him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria G. Cabral, along with three brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, all of whom he held dear in his heart.

In honor of Jaime’s life, a private funeral service will be held, celebrating the beautiful journey he took and the enduring impressions he made in our lives. May his soul rest in peace, and may we carry his values forward as a testament to the remarkable person he was.
