Jose Gabriel Brown

New Bedford – Jose Gabriel Brown, age 41, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved spouse of Ashley Tavares.

He was born in the Bronx, New York and was the loving son of Maria Batista and the late Francisco Rosario. He had been a Recovery Specialist at High Point Treatment Center.

Jose is survived by, his mother, Maria Batista; his spouse, Ashley Tavares; siblings, Emmanuela, Franco, Marilyn, Wilfredo, Eric & Francisco; his children, Emmalina, Jose Gabriel Jr., Madison & Gabriel Jose Antonio; Step children, Joslynn and Joshua; sister-in-law’s, Crystal and her husband Alicidio and Hannah; brother-in-law, Joshua; nieces and nephews, Christopher, Camila, Mattie, Aaron, Emily, Jessica, Erica, Noah, Eric, Skyla, Ryry, Lily, Angelo, Antonio, Erika, Ava-Truly, Julian, Jaxson-Kenneth, Grayson and James; as well as many family & friends.

Visiting hours for Jose will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Cremation to follow.
