Kary Morillo

Kary Morillo, age 50, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday September 6, 2026 surrounded by her family at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Kary was a beautiful woman whose presence could light up any room. She was funny, full of energy, and had a charisma and vibe that were truly one of a kind. Her laughter was unforgettable, her personality was infectious, and she had a special way of bringing joy to the people around her.

Above all, Kary loved her family. She was a wonderful mother and an even more amazing grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and the love she had for them was immeasurable. She cherished spending time with her loved ones and friends, especially enjoying days at the beach. She spent most of her life as a CNA taking care of people in need which she loved.

Kary is survived by her loving mother, Janice Zeferino; her loving father, Amilcar Zeferino; her son, Luis Morillo; her daughter, Adeyana Morillo; her daughter-in-law, Linzy Motta; her beloved grandchildren, Jayvien, Alaiyah, Jasiyah, and Aliviyah; her brothers, Steven and Chad; and her sisters, Melissa and Monica; and niece and nephew Mason and Madison

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, the love and beautiful memories Kary gave us will live on forever. Her incredible spirit, and the joy she brought into our lives will never be forgotten. She will always be loved, deeply missed, and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Kary’s visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 22 2026, at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will take place during this time.
