Keisha M. Rose, passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 45. Born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Keisha made her home there surrounded by her beloved family and friends.

Keisha was known for her radiant presence — always looking and smelling good, with a smile and laugh that could light up any room. She loved spending time with her family and took great pride in raising her children. Her contagious laugh, humor, and warm heart made her unforgettable to all who knew her.

For 21 years, Keisha dedicated herself to her work at Better Community Living Inc., supporting individuals with disabilities. She valued her work deeply and instilled in her children the importance of loving and accepting everyone, regardless of color, orientation, or ability.

Keisha is survived by her mother, Shellie Scott, and her children: Keyareé Perkins, Robert Perkins III, Ja’Niah Bowie, Khai’Rae Bowie, and Kayah Bowie, along with their father, her companion,Kevin Bowie. She also leaves behind her siblings: RissyRae Viera, Hector Vega III, Leihani Rose, Rochelle Andrews, Mariah Spinola, Derek Moriconi and a lot of nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her father, Derek Rose.

Keisha’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 5–8 p.m. at Perry’s Funeral Home in New Bedford. Her family invites all who loved her to join in remembering the joy, laughter, and love she brought into their lives. Cremation will follow.

Keisha will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her strength, beauty, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth St, New Bedford, MA, which offers an ample lighted parking lot and is equipped with a handicap-accessible ramp and entrance for all who wish to pay their respects.
