Kim Raposa

New Bedford – Kim (Abrantes) Raposa, age 62, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at her home. 

Kim was born in New Bedford, MA and was the daughter of Louis Abrantes and Gertrude Patricia (Arruda) Abrantes. She had been a cafeteria manager at Gomes School for many years.

She is survived by her children, Shayne Raposa and his fiance Samantha Medeiros, Cheyenne Raposa and his wife Jen and Crystal Raposa; her grandchildren, Mia, Shayne and Cody Raposa and Devin Nunez; her siblings, Michelle Mauricio and her husband Mario, Kevin Abrantes and his wife Cheryl and Mark Abrantes and his wife Renee; as well as her nephews, Jesse and Jared Mauricio.

Kim’s visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2023 at Perry funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Her funeral service will be held on Monday morning at Perry Funeral Home, beginning at 10:30 A.M. with a service to be held at 11:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
