Leonora Lawson

Middleboro - Leonora J. Lawson, age 91, formerly of Dartmouth, MA passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Hannah B. Shaw Home in Middleboro with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Cletus O. Lawson with whom she shared 67 years.

Nora as she was known to all her friends and family was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and a lifetime member of the Dartmouth High School Alumni Association.  She loved to bake her famous chocolate chip brownies and share them at all the family functions.  

She was the loving mother to John E. Lawson and his wife Sandra, Wayne A. Lawson and his wife Nancy, Karen Mott and her late husband Robert and Kathleen Eluziario and her husband David; Her biggest pride was being grandmother to Courtney, Jessica, Lauren, Jason, Richelle, Harrison, Jenna, Sara and Joshua; great-grandmother to Colton, Wyatt, Oliver, Georgia, Benji, Quinn, Willow, Bentley, Lianne and Noah.

She was the sister of Mary Hathaway and her late husband Clifton, the late Maurice Anthony and his wife Erika, the late Richard Anthony and his wife Nini, the late Rosary Kay and her late husband Wes and the late Nathalie Dias and her late husband Arthur.

Aunt Nora was also loved by her many nieces, nephews, godchildren and extended family.

  A Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday February 20th at St Marys Church in Dartmouth at 11:00 A.M. Burial of her ashes and her husbands ashes will be on Wednesday February 21at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
