Lori Ann Bird

Lori Ann Bird, age 61, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Her presence brought joy and warmth to the lives of those fortunate to know her.

Born on November 20, 1963, in New Bedford, Lori was the cherished daughter of Vivian (Pimental) Bird and the late Christopher J. Bird. She dedicated many years of her life to her career, serving as a sales associate at Childworld and Walmart, where her leadership and commitment shone brightly.

Lori is survived by her devoted mother, Vivian Bird, her brother Christopher J. Bird Jr, her sister Donna (Bird) Carvalho and brother- in-law Jorge Carvalho. She was a proud aunt to her nieces and nephews, Christopher J Bird III and Cassy, Joseph Bird and Heather, Sheri Bird and Elton, Aaron Carvalho and Lauren, Dana Morin and John, and her great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her immediate family, Lori will be missed by her close friend Chris Flemming. All those who knew her, will carry her memories and spirit close to their hearts.

The love and strength of family were paramount in Lori's life, and her bonds with loved ones were enduring. Lori enjoyed shopping, going to concerts especially Bon Jovi with her niece Sheri, trips to the beach, and long walks with her beloved four-legged friend, Taco. She enjoyed watching her great nephews Drew and Nate play baseball and always looked forward to visits from her nephews and their families from California. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Lori not only for her achievements and contributions but also for her kindness and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
