Manuel Alcaidinho

New Bedford – Manuel Alcaidinho, age 65, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Born in the Azores, he was the son of the late Carlos Alcaidinho and Maria (Albertina) Alcaidinho. He had worked as a landscaper for many years and he also loved to play the drums.

Manuel is survived by his son, Nathaniel Alcaidinho; brothers, Florimundo and Carlos Alcaidinho; sisters-in-law, Lucy and Merinia Alcaidinho; as well as several nieces and nephews.

His Mass with ashes present will take place on Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 11:00 A.M. Everyone attending is asked to meet directly at Church. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford.
