Marcelle Claire DeCambra

Marcelle Claire (Vaillancourt) DeCambra passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday May 1st. Marcelle was the wife of the late Daniel E. DeCambra and mother to the late David E. DeCambra. 

Marcelle is survived by her sister, Jeanne (Vaillancourt) DeCambra, her niece, Carol DeCambra, and her two grandsons, Derek E. DeCambra, and Marc D. DeCambra. Marcelle was sister of the late Robert, Richard, and Albert Vaillancourt, and daughter of Philip Vaillancourt and Jeannette A. (Pelissier) Vaillancourt. Marcelle is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and great-nieces and nephews.

Marcelle grew up in Fall River, MA with her many siblings. She worked as a bank teller at Fall River Trust for many years. She and her husband Daniel loved to travel together, and she loved to play bingo and hit the slots with her sister Jeanne. She looked forward to days when her son, David, would come over for dinner, and loved visits from her grandsons. Marcelle lived a long and beautiful life and will be missed by many. 

Family and friends are invited for visiting hours and funeral service on Monday, May 6th at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. and followed by a service to begin at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
