Michael Paul Green

Michael Paul Green, age 55, of Manchester, TN, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Melissa S. (Amaral) Green, whose loving support was a constant source of comfort throughout his life.

Born in New Bedford, MA, on December 27, 1969, Michael was the cherished son of Paul Green and Sandra (Albert) Green. Michael proudly served in The United States Marine Corps, demonstrating a commitment to duty and service that he carried with him throughout his life. Michael was an Amazing Musician, played that guitar like the Rockstar he is!

Michael is survived by his wife, Melissa S. Green; his parents, Paul & Robin Green (Step-Mom) and Sandra Green (Mom); children, Damian Green & Makeila Langevin & companion Andrew Braga; and Granddaughter, Penelope Braga; sisters, Joanne Popp, Nicole Green, Jennifer Green, Laura Beaudoin; and godson/nephew, Jaydin Soares. He was very much loved by his family & friends!

Michael’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. His funeral will take place on Thursday morning in the funeral, beginning at 11:00 A.M. with a service to be held at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30 P.M.

The care of these arrangements has been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth St., New Bedford, MA 02740. At the rear of the funeral home, an ample lighted parking lot awaits, along with a handicap-accessible ramp entrance equipped with an automatic open door, ensuring ease for all who wish to pay their respects.
