Michael P. Rego

Michael P. Rego, age 46, of Dartmouth, MA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Alissa A. (Messier) Rego.

Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the beloved son of Horacio Rego and Maria Isabel (Costa) Rego. He had been a fisherman for the Ocean Prawless Fishing Industry. Michael loved to fish and especially loved watching his children play sports over the years.

Michael is survived by his wife, Alissa; his parents, Horacio and Maria Rego; his children, Ian Michael Rego and Sophia A. Rego; 3 brothers, Jason P. Rego, Kevin L. Rego and Jonathan L. Rego; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.

Michael’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. His funeral will take place Saturday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
