Nancy A. Bilodeau

New Bedford –  Nancy (Annunziata) Bilodeau (Caffarelli) age 88, of New Bedford, MA passed away surrounded by love, peacefully, on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care. 

Nancy was born in Milford, MA to the late Giuseppe and Maria Caffarelli who migrated here from Italy. Nancy was the youngest of 12 children and the last one to pass on. 

Nancy had 3 children, 4 Grand-daughters and 1 Great-grandson. She loved to be loved, and was known as "Fancy Nancy" at Buttonwood senior center that she enjoyed attending two days a week.   She loved getting her hair done,  doing puzzles, going to the Dollar store, little knickknacks, Disney, Harry-Potter, Lord of rings and all animals. She will always be remembered for using her Italian swears, hands to talk and for saying "Where is my hanky and I'm alright, I'm alright". 

Nancy is survived by her Daughter, caretaker Roxanne Mendoza, son-in-law Milton Mendoza.  Her son William Bilodeau and Daughter-in-law to be Linda Daigle. Her grandchildren who she loved deeply and was so proud of, Vanessa Mendoza, Venecia Mendoza, Viana Mendoza, Serenity Bilodeau and her new found love for her great-grandson: Cash Johnny Lopes. She was also the mother of the late Pauline Grace Goulet who was her first born.

Nancys' visiting hours will be held at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, MA on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 8:30 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church located on 5 East Main St Milford, MA at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow at Vernon Grove Cemetery located on 100 Depot Street, Milford, MA.
