Natalie Andoscia (Rego), age 86, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025. She was loved dearly and will be missed.
Born on August 26, 1939, in Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores. Natalie was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel DoRego and Francesca Pacheco (Rego).
She was a very caring mother and grandmother, who loved her family very much.
She was recognized as a strong and determined woman, which was an inspiration to those around her. She had resided with her daughter Andrea for numerous years, and their bond had deepened over time, evolving into a very close friendship.
She moved from Azores, Portugal to the United States at a young age. She acquired the English language rapidly and then began working in the clothing industry with a career as a seamstress at San Toro Manufacturing, Justin Clothing and also worked part time at Ames Department Store.
She was an avid bowler and had been a member of a team for many years. She also enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the Celtics. She loved her pets, and consistently cherished moments spent around them.
Preceded in death by her mother, Francesca Cabral Pacheco and father, Manuel DoRego Cabral and son Andrew John Andoscia. Natalie is survived by her devoted daughter Andrea Andoscia and beloved grandson Brent Fresoni.
She also leaves behind brother Luis M.C. DoRego and sister-in-law Madeline B. Souza DoRego.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth St, New Bedford, MA.
