Paul Albert Moniz

New Bedford, MA – Paul Albert Moniz, age 77, of Dartmouth, MA passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving family by his side on Sunday, June 9, 2024.  

Paul was born in Acushnet, MA and was the beloved son of the late Albert Moniz and Otillia “Tillie” (Paulino) Moniz.

He is survived by his 3 brothers, Alan Moniz of N. Carolina, Richard Moniz of FL and Albert Moniz of N. Carolina; his sister, Kathryn Hodgkins of N. Dartmouth; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Marie Moniz.

“Paul’s family would like to thank Southeastern Residential Services for the wonderful love and care they showed Paul and his family these past 30 years! Paul’s family often referred to the Dartmouth crew as Paul’s Angels.” If it’s too late I can thank them at Paul’s service.

Paul’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. with a service to take place at 12:30 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford.
