Paul A. Nunes

Paul A. Nunes, 58, of South Dartmouth, MA, passed away on January 30, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Kelly L. (Marshall) Nunes

Paul was born in Pico, Azores to Joao Santos daSilveira Nunes and Maria Teresa (da Brum) Nunes. He was the owner of Paul A Nunes Tax Service. A true family man, Paul’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with those he loved.

He cherished his role as a husband to Kelly and father to his children, Christopher M, Melissa M, and Nicholas M. Nunes, and as a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Raylee L. McMullen and Carter K. Ouimet, as well as his brother Gary S. Nunes.

He is also survived by his nieces, Jessica L. Marshall, who is also his godchild, Tamikka A. Marshall, Samantha M. Nunes Mendes and her husband Jordan, and a late godchild Sabrina A. Nunes; as well as a great niece and nephew, Aria S. Mendes and Mason J. Mendes.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Paul’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, MA.
