Paulo Alexandre Lopes Anastacio

Paulo Alexandre Lopes Anastacio, age 33, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away on July 24, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on February 6, 1993 in New Bedford MA, Paulo was the cherished son of Jose M. Anastacio and Maria L. (Lopes) Anastacio.

Paulo is survived by brother Pedro J. Anastacio of New Bedford, MA. Sister Elizabeth Anastacio Gaspar & Husband Jeffrey Gaspar of Rochester, MA. Niece Cecilia Gaspar (Cece Girl) and Nephew Charles Gaspar (Charlie) Of Rochester, MA. Also survived by various uncles, aunts, and cousins world wide and all of his best friends.

Paulo’s visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Visiting hours will take place at Perry Funeral Home from 9:30 - 11:00 am followed by a Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 11:30 am. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts, which offers convenient facilities, including a lighted parking lot and wheelchair accessibility for attendees.
