Renee M. DeSouza

Renee M. DeSouza, 55, passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 18, 2026.

Renee leaves behind her loving parents, Elaine and Ronald DeSouza Sr.; her sister, Diana Matos; her brother, Ronald DeSouza Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her longtime partner, Alvaro Rosa, and her three sisters, Suzanne Lopez, Shirley Guidry, and Laura Mendes.

Renee was a caring person who always took the time to check on those she loved and make sure they were doing well. She had a special love for animals and cared for many cats throughout the years. Her pets were more than just animals to her, they were her children. She especially enjoyed spending time with her dog, Chico.

Renee also enjoyed going for rides with her father and watching wrestling. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures and the things that meant the most to her.

Renee will be remembered for her caring heart, her love for her family and animals, and the many memories she leaves behind. She will be missed dearly and memories of her will be cherished forever.

In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a small memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
