Russell Scott Lucio

Russell Scott Lucio, age 62, of New Bedford, MA passed away on October 3, 2026 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital after a long illness.

He was born on July 3, 1964 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford and resided in Dartmouth, MA before moving to Westport, MA. He was the beloved son of the late James Lucio and Jeannette (Racine) Lucio. He had proudly served in the United States Navy.

Russell is survived by his brothers, Stephen Lucio of New Bedford, MA, John Lucio of Fl. and numerous nephews and nieces and his longtime companion, Gayle Silva of New Bedford, MA.

In accordance with his last wishes, cremation has taken place, which will be followed by a private scattering of his ashes.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
