Sandra Ann (Souza) Costa

Sandra Ann (Souza) Costa, age 77, of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished wife of Frank Costa, with whom she shared many years of life and happiness.

Born on November 5, 1947, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Sandra was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur Souza and Hilda (Baptiste) Souza. She carried the warmth and values instilled in her through her close-knit family, which shaped her into the caring person so many knew and loved.

Throughout her career, Sandra established herself as a dedicated sales clerk for JC Penney, where her friendly demeanor and attentive nature made a lasting impression on her colleagues and customers alike. Her commitment to her work mirrored her dedication to family, showcasing her ability to balance professional and personal life with grace.

In addition to her husband Frank, Sandra is survived by her son, Jeffrey Andrade, and his wife, Urszula, as well as her stepdaughter, Cynthia Costa. She took great joy in her role as grandmother to five beloved grandchildren: Julia, Lauren, Sophia, Jakub, and Filip. The bond she shared with her family was profound, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Sandra is also remembered fondly by her godchild, Christine Blais, who holds precious memories of their time together.

A private burial/service will take place at a future date.
