Susan (Boston) Oliveira

Dartmouth - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Susan (Boston) Oliveira, age 73, of Dartmouth, MA, who left this world on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Susan was the beloved wife of Thomas Oliveira.

Born in New Bedford, MA, Susan was the cherished daughter of the late David Boston and Viola (Jacobs) Boston. She dedicated many years of her life to working as a local retail manager, a role in which she not only demonstrated her outstanding leadership skills but also nurtured countless relationships within the community.

Susan will be remembered for her warmth and her unwavering devotion to her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Thomas Oliveira, a loving mother to her daughters, Amy Oliveira and Allison Oliveira, and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, Makayla, Marquisse, and Julia. Her family was her pride and joy, and she took great delight in every moment spent with them.

In addition to her immediate family, Susan is survived by her sister-in-law, Linda Boston, and her daughter; her nieces, Joan, Marsha, and Karen; and her nephews, David and Stephen Kenny, along with their children. She shared a special bond with her best friend of over 60 years, Karen Blanchard, who was by her side through many chapters of her life right up until the end. Susan also embraced the role of godmother to Karen’s daughter, Victoria North, fostering a lasting connection filled with love and memories.

Susan's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life. She leaves behind not just memories, but a living testament to the strong relationships she built and cherished.
