Susan Gayle Pinarreta

Susan Gayle (Duarte) Pinarreta, age 55, of New Bedford, MA, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, July 10 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born on September 9, 1969, in New Bedford, MA and was the beloved daughter of Alphonse Duarte and Gail Ann (Garcia) Duarte.

Susan was the cherished wife of John M. Pinarreta, and their bond was a testament to love and companionship that blossomed through the years. Over the course of her career, Susan dedicated herself to her role as an assistant manager at Dollar Tree, where she brought her commitment and enthusiasm to her work.

Susan leaves behind her husband, John M. Pinarreta; her daughter, Tiffany A. Pinarreta; her son, Jonathan A. Pinarreta; her daughter, Alyssa M. Benevides and son-in-law, Alex A. Benevides; grandson, Ayden J. Benevides; family pet, Max; her sister, Donna Franco and brother-in-law, Antonio Franco; her brother, Bruce Duarte; as well as her nieces & nephews, Anthony Franco, Jessica Franco, Courtny Franco, Mathew Franco, and Brian Duarte.

Her warm spirit and gentle nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Susan's passing is a significant loss to her family and friends, who will forever remember her kindness, strength, and unwavering love. Susan's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.

Visiting hours to honor Susan will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a service being held during this time. Following the service, cremation will take place.
