Victor M. Soto

Victor M. Soto Sr., age 78, of W. Wareham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Inez (Pacheco) Soto.

Born on November 15, 1946, in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, Victor was the cherished son of the late Ramon Soto Cruz and Maria Monserrat Rodriguez. He dedicated many years of his life to his work as a water purification specialist for the Polaroid Corporation, earning the respect of his colleagues and contributing to the community.

He is survived by his children, Wanda A. Soto Negron of East Bridgewater, MA, Inez Perrigen and her husband James Perrigen of Covington, GA, and Victor M Soto Jr. and his wife Stephanie Soto and their daughter Victoria Jean Soto of Rehoboth, MA. He is also survived by his siblings Virginia Soto Rodriguez and Augustin Soto Rodriguez of Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, Maria Soto Rodriguez of the Bronx, New York, Aurora Soto of East Hartford, Connecticut, Tomas Soto Rodriguez of Hollywood, Florida and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Confesora Rodriguez Rodriguez.

Victor's memory will be honored during visiting hours on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Perry Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. His funeral will take place on Saturday morning, beginning at 9:00 AM in the funeral home, and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church in Dartmouth at 10:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow at St. John’s Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth St, New Bedford, MA, which offers an ample lighted parking lot and is equipped with a handicap-accessible ramp and entrance for all who wish to pay their respects.
