William F. "Billyboy" Souza

William F. Souza “Billyboy,” age 61, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the comfort of his home. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final days.

Born on November 29, 1964, in Fall River, William was the son of William Souza and Delores (Cateon) Souza.

William’s memory will be carried on by those who knew and loved him. His passing is deeply felt by family and friends, who will remember him for his compassion, humor, and the love he had for his family.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed collecting sports cards, fishing, and eating seafood, but nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, whom he loved more than anything.

William is survived by his brother, Frank Souza of Fall River, and his three children: Kayla Wunschel and her husband Garrett of Fairhaven; Zachary Souza of Fall River; and Joshua Souza of Fall River. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Ryleigh.

He will be remembered with love and gratitude. While his absence is deeply felt, he is now at peace and no longer suffering. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be announced next week, inviting all who knew and loved William to come together to honor his memory and celebrate the life he lived.
