William John Conrad Schroth

New Jersey – William John Conrad Schroth, age 86, of Bridgewater, NJ and formerly of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Sylvia) Schroth.

 William was born in The Bronx, NY and was the beloved son of the late William Arthur Schroth and Ellen (Smith) Schroth. He held a PhD in chemistry and worked as a chemist for many years. He was an avid photographer, and would always be seen with a camera in his hands. Before the time of digital photography, he would develop his own pictures and modify and enhance old family photos. 

He is survived by his cousins Marilyn (Schroth) DeLorenzo, of Maywood, NJ, Edward Stalzer of Stroudsburg, PA, Gladys Rebello of Fairhaven, MA, Michael Florio of Mattapoisett, MA, and Cheryl Vignale of Coeur D' Alene, ID.

William’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Cremation will follow and his cremains will be buried at St. John’s Cemetery in New Bedford, MA at a later date.
